Cheyenne Sun Dance

The Sun Dance. . . a ceremony common to most Plains Indian and a few Great Basin tribes. The central theme of the Cheyenne Sun Dance is world renewal: to make the whole world over again. It begins with the Lodge-maker who makes his vow and following that everything is supposed to begin to take new life, for the Medicine-Spirit {Maiyun}, having heard the prayer of the pledger begins at once to answer it, not so much for the pledger himself or his family, as for the whole tribe.

will it ever end?

you can't help but get this sickening feeling when you see innocent kids hurt.
so what motivates these human beings to put unarmed children in the line of fire to justify their cause?
there is evil under the sun, but sadly it only manifests through us.
we are above all other living creatures created by God.
after this episode, one wonders...
